On 7 June 2005

The first two are undated but were taken onboard during a ceremony dedicating

a plaque to AMERICA’S crew, and the placing of the time capsule from the CVA.

The last was taken just after the AMERICA slipped beneath the waves.

The poem was written by our ship’s boatswain, Joe O’Brien.
